Can anyone recommend some thing for men’s wallets? Ideally this new wallet will last me another 10 or more years.

I’ll second this. I have a Bellroy slim sleeve and have had it for quite some time and it’s almost as good as new. Lasting so well and I just love it.
Saddleback leather.
Third on Saddleback. Had it for years and it has been great.
And a fourth on Saddleback. I’ve had mine for 15 years now. Never cleaned or conditioned. Broken in nicely and not a single crack or loose stitch.
A second vote. I got mine back in 09 it 10. Been carrying it every day since. Looks great, still supple. Clean and moisturize it one or two times a year with oppenaufs.
Saddleback ID wallet to be precise.

Saddleback in my top 3
One more vote for SBL. My wife and I own numerous products from 2009 until present. The warranty is completely legit too. First wallet got salt water on it, which didn’t hurt the wallet at all. But the salt embedded in it made it start messing up the mag strips on my cards. Called to ask how to clean the salt out, and they said “What’s your new address?” No questions asked they sent me a new wallet and told me to feel free to keep the salty one too. I also have a large briefcase from 2010 that has been used like mad and still looks awesome. Wife has a tote and the large travel wallet. We also have a few smaller items. All of it is perfect and completely BIFL worthy
Filson makes some pretty solid wallets; mine is probably 10 yrs old and in very good shape yet.
I can't personally speak to the longevity of this wallet, on account of I just got mine, but I have Houbei 2.0 wallet from Open Sea Leather and is very high quality, slim (I front pocket carry), and has more than enough room for my cards and cash
Aspinal of London is great. Mine is a decade old now and has held up excellent.
Poplov leather, saddleback, the leather shop
I really like the look of Poplov the most so far
That’s what I’ve been carrying for about 3 years now. (Card wallet) and I love the design. Craftsmanship has been impeccable
Depends on which kind of wallet you’d like. Also, I go with a local leather brand
I agree that sounds like a good idea but not too many leather brands around Long Island, New York.
Mitchell Leather from Milwaukee
About 10 years ago I went from George Castanza fat wallet to a slim wallet. 4 cards, 3 paper copies of insurance stuff, and cash (less cash these days). I will never go back to fat wallet, and I recommend Serman Brands. Or others like it. I bought for maybe $16, now it looks like it’s $25. It’s still like new, probably because it doesn’t get abused like fat wallets used to.
I had an RFID anti-reader safe one, but my key card didn’t work thru it lol so I ended up getting a non RFID safety model.
Less stuff is better :) cheers.
I've had the predecessor to THIS Duluth wallet for a number of years, and if wear continues as-is I may not ever have to buy another wallet.
Good leather, great stitching and durable as hell.
Tanner Goods
ashland leather
Came here to say this. Got rid of my saddlebacks in lieu of Horween shell cordovan fat herbies amongst a few others. Comfiest and best wallets I’ve had, and I’m a wallet snob
I have a 13yo Miwallit that’s going to last at least another 10
I stopped using a wallet years ago. I.D., CC, wrap a few bills folded in half around in then put a rubber band around. Stays in my front pocket.
For me absolutely no need for a wallet. I really don't like the feel of anything in my pockets but lack of an actual wallet feels great, I could never go back.
Threesonsleather on instagram for a cool handmade EDC type wallet, Salazarandsons for a more classic style leather bifold.
Fantom wallets.
Love mine.
Saddleback is the longest lasting / toughest but it’s a bit chunky. And I’ve tried a lot of wallets.
Ashland Leather, in shell cordovan. It won’t crease and light scratches can be rubbed away. Expensive but it will last nearly forever. In fact I think it would last literally forever unless set afire.
I bought one over 5 years ago and it’s been bulletproof.

If you sign up for their emails you’ll get notified about flash sales, where stuff sells out super quick.
Find someone to make you one with the leather you like. I had a guy custom made me a dark green shell cordovan wallet + card holder and it's amazing.
I’ve had my Tumi wallet for 10 years and it still looks new.
I came here to recommend my tumi. It’s a front pocket wallet but it still looks new and has been fantastic to me for the last 5 years.
If you want something different, I have a wallet from Harvey’s California The original seatbelt bag. Pretty nice quality, and got it Star Wars themed. 2 years in so far, and still looks new.
Rawlins leather baseball stitch wallet
I bought a Hurley International passecase wallet made out of canvas and leather sometime after enlisting, so early 2000s and it was still in pristine condition up until a couple years ago when it was stolen. I really miss that thing. From the waters of Hawaii and Alaska to Pensacola and various washing machines, it took a lot of abuse. I often forgot to take it out of my pocket and it never cared.
Losing a wallet you carried forever is impossible to replace. I feel for you.
If you don't carry cash I love my decent minimalist (if you do they have a money clip too)
Distil Union out of Charleston makes fantastic wallets. Bought a minimalist wallet from them five years ago and it still looks brand new despite daily use. This thing will truly last the rest of my life.
Saw this guys post above yours, he makes wallets that last https://reddit.com/u/Accomplished_Alarm_1
I'm a fan of Elephant Wallet. I have the N Wallet in Carbon Fiber and Aluminium.
My Arieat wallet is pushing 10, it's the first one that did not start to pop stitches.

Bellroy! So many great options and not crazy pricey
Had mine for a few years and it just looks more distinguished now than when I got it. Highly recommend
