They sell a bunch of really cheapy looking ones, but I’d like to find one that will last awhile.

This is just for a home, and I don’t mind regular maintenance as long as it isn’t super costly.

Manual or antique is fine, commercial is fine if those are really the only ones worth a darn.

Machine aside, do you have access to purchase ice blocks to fit whatever you buy? Cubes from your freezer aren’t going to work that well

Not sure how BIFL it will turn out to be, but we got a Little Snowie Max a few years ago. You can just pour in ice cubes and it does a decent job.
