I've got one of these in black, also 30+ years old, still works and it's been used everyday since I was 8 years old. My grandma gave it to me for Christmas, she's long gone now but that alarm clock still works. Some of the buttons are starting to get a little unresponsive, but I'm keeping it until it breaks.
