Soooo many mid century modern brands that have garbage reviews. Despite loving the style, I want something comfortable that lasts, even if I have to buy used.

Any suggestions for that have the look but won’t fall apart in 3 years??

Anything from Design Within Reach. Seconding Herman Miller. Also Knoll. They are the actual brands and designs that have been around since the 1950s (and before) and are still around today.

Identify quality manufacturers and see if they make that style. Unless you are planning to go vintage.

I don't mind going vintage as long as it's quality.

If a couch is still looking good and dates from the 60s, it's going to keep looking good if you care for it.

I've never had a couch half as good as the MCM ones I've scored on Marketplace.
