No offense taken at all, and my wife said the same thing when I was designing it. The colors are quite a bit softer in person, and the silver and gold have a nice metallic sheen.

I know it’s not for everyone, but it makes me happy so it’s all good!

The monogram will age, it's glaringly out of place now but I think OP made a good call for how it will look in a few years time.
