I was seeing a physical therapist after being in a car accident and they would hook me up to a TENS unit and it really helped. Was hoping to find one online that I can use at home, but am struggling to find one that seems to be of good quality. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Compex wireless. They aren't cheap, but very powerful. You can use it both for recovery and training.

I bought one for my girlfriend who uses it for endometriosis pain for Christmas last year. We've only had it for a year but it works great. I use it sometimes for recovery as well (from gym) Altogether with shipping from Texas to Ontario it was around 300 CAD.

It's also wireless and very low profile. She wears it to work on days that are really bad endo-wise, and it's been a life changing purchase for us

istim 805 Recently got this and it will run a lot of electrical patterns (constant, sine wave, rapid on-off, etc) which can be tweaked. It’s about the size of an old cassette Walkman. It’s strong enough to be too much, but the intensity is variable.

Zynex - u might be able to get it approved by your health insurance.

I’d be wary of zynex. They told me insurance covered it when it doesn’t. (That’s on me I should have checked myself). And have now continued to run insurance claims for the last 2 years bc they don’t think they got enough from the first claim.

So I’d only go with them if you know for sure insurance will cover it or you pay out of pocket.
