Are Dickie's pants durable?

Are pants from Dickie's any good, how long would they last me if I bought a pair?

Edit: I have one more question, is there any other brand that makes better pants then Dickie's (that aren't jeans).

I bought three pairs 4 years ago and they're still going strong even after being subjected to daily janitorial conditions and extreme weather.

It probably partly depends which ones you are talking about. So far the women's carpenter pants, the doublefront overalls, and the shorts have been great! They have outlasted the Carhartt and Duluth by quite a lot. How long they will last you is pretty personal and depends what your use case is. If you are just a weekend warrior doing yardwork, they are likely to last a very long time. Doing farming and logging, I only got six month out of those stupid Duluth and less than a year out of Carhartt.

I've worked HVAC, cabinetry and landscaping I do think there more durable then most and they are my oldest set of work pants but I perfer my Duluth and my Wolverines more mostly due to the cut of the pockets and depth it's just easier to get my knife and wallet out. My Dickes are at least two years old and while they look worn they hold up alright

At the price point there is nothing better.

I had like 3 pair I bought for about $10 each in the 70s, and wore them all through college. I was such a rebel I wouldn't wear blue jeans. They still had a press crease when I graduated.

I use 5 pairs of Dickies cargo pants in weekly rotation. They're 6-7 years old and going strong, but I don't wear out clothes often.

I wear them as work pants in the kitchen, and after trying a bunch of different options over 10+ years they are the ones I settled on. Depends on your use case, I don't know how they hold up in more of an outdoor/hard wear setting.

The point of failure for most kitchen pants is crotch blowout and just general wear out of fabric due to the heat and grease, and I haven't thrown a pair away yet.

Had mine since Job Corps 11 years ago, standard uniform. I out grew them but I wore the heck out of them until I did so and they held up well

Yes, just not the ones from Walmart- they are a separate part number and a thinner material copy of the better one.

You can check out army navy stores, automotive workwear, and clothing retailers- literally just not walmart since those dickies are made specifically for walmart.

No, online shipping and shopping is complicated where I live you have to contact a bunch shipping companies and get it to Guatemala it's super expensive.

I'll just be going there to visit family and buy some pair bringing them back in my suitcase that's it, that's how we do it in Latin America to send out family members clothing.

I have already been to Maryland years ago,

Here in Latin America lots of people have family members in the U.S and they send them American Products to there family in there home country because it doesn't exist there and it's more durable.

They like to send medicine, clothing, fragrances, makeup products, TVs, snacks, cars, money ect. It's shipped in boxes or brought in there suitcase.

As a thank you, they get food from there home country witch they miss a lot, and other nationals good that are not available in the U.S.

Levi's and Adidas ect are available but they are to expensive here. family owned stores have them as well but you never know is your getting a fake.

I used to wear dickies in high-school. If they still fit me I think they would be in pretty good shape 15 years down the road lol... I've not bought any dickies since I've grown up but would absolutely buy them if I needed to have a certain look or something.
