Dakine are amazing. I have a couple of their travel bags and have been exceptionally happy with the construction of them.

I loved my Dakine packs, but my first one ended up with the insulated pocket ripping inside, making it useless. My second one lasted a while, but the strap broke and I really can't fix it because of where it broke. Is it possibly I am overloading them?

Dakine has a amazing warranty on its bags. I would prefer they repaired them, but usually they replace them with few questions. I don’t have personal experience, as my backpack has been flawless for 15 years.

Awesome! I foolishly gave my HeliPro, vintage 2006ish, to someone a few years ago in a snow gear deal. At least I can be confident it's still out there working. The thing was crazy bombproof.

I bought a snowboarding dakine pack back in 2005. It's been a fishing pack the last 10 years and I don't think it's gonna see retirement anytime soon.

dakine are the real deal. i had a ten year old pack of theirs rip a zipper and they exchanged it with a brand new bag no questions asked.

Still have a black Dakine that I got right before going to college. It is still going and lasted 5 years of college constantly carrying books and then it got me through law school too only losing a zipper in the process.

We have a dakine(?) suitcase/bag on wheels with the same pattern. It’s been going strong for like 15 years being manhandled by luggagehandlers and being dragged through many trips

Another Dakine backpack! I begged my mom to buy, I think it was like 80 bucks 10 years ago. It even came with a pencil case that I still use! It's the only backpack I own. I use it for college, vacation trips, groceries etc. Looks brand new, only had to re-sew part of the zipper a couple months ago.
