No. Probably not. This is post-1968, which is the time pivot where the quality declined significantly. I'd be curious as to how much use it's actually gotten. Nonetheless, you may end up being very happy with this item and it won't matter when it was produced.

I have that kettle. It’s not as heavy duty as the older Revere Ware kettles, but my impression of it is that it will still last a lifetime of regular use.

Got this item from my great-aunt as she can no longer use it (can’t pick it up) and I was telling her about my issues with finding a quality kettle that isn’t over $50. It’s been with her for as long as I can remember and I do recall her using it years ago (mostly to iron or clean) but I wanted to know if normal use would run it into the ground given it’s made in China?

I have one just like it. We've had it 20+ years and if I see another I'll buy it. I like the style, I like the heavy base and how it stays warm, I like the mech that opens the spout, I like the sound it makes. Best kettle every.

That's really cool. The company I'm with buys copper sheets from Revere all the time. I had no idea they made cookware.

Well it can't be much over 40years. American companies producing something of decent quality in China didn't really get up to speed untill the mid 80s. Assuming from the font that states China is say mid to late 90s. Altough thats when the mold would be made could be well into the 2000s

If it's anything like my Revere ware copper bottom frying pan I have had since at least '85 and still use to this day, you should be fine.
