Hi, im looking for something to organize my belongings during travel. I found a bunch of travel bags with zippers, you put your clothes etc inside and have a neat bag. However, all brands on Amazon seem like alibaba crap. Do you have any recommendations or alternative methods of keeping travel bags organized? Budget is 100€ for all. Thanks! 😊

I’ll second Eagle Creek. I’ve been using them for several years and they’re holding up well so far. I have a couple that I use regularly, and they’re in as good condition as the rest that I use infrequently.

Here's a third for Eagle Creek!

Everyone that I've loaned them to has also ended up buying their own packing cubes, but always the cheap ones, which you just know won't last long.

I went to 34 countries in three years for work and took Eagle Creek packing cubes on every trip. I still use them today.

I've been traveling internationally on a perpetual basis for over 8 years now. My packing cubes see continuous use and a bit of abuse. I've been through 3 brands so far. The first were some no-name, no-features, garbage I picked up on Amazon. They died a quick death.

Next, I tried some from Eagle Creek. They were such an improvement. I'm convinced that they would still be around if I traveled as often as the average person, rather than full-time. But, ultimately I did end up damaging the zippers and/or wearing through the fabric in small spots that became much larger.

I'm now using some from Peak Design, and they are exceptionally tough. They also have a, in my opinion, better compression ratio. In addition, they have a separate section in them that allows me to keep dirty clothes away from clean. They are more expensive, and I'm not sure the average traveler needs such high-end compression cubes. But, they do appear to fit well within the category of buy-it-for-life.

Peak Design for sure. Quality is great and design makes them amazing to use in practice

I bought a bunch on ebags.com probably 10 years ago. We still use them-one color per family member. You can also get excellent quality from Tom Bihn. I have several of their bags and accessories and they are fantastic.

The Patagonia Black Hole Cubes are very high quality, and their warranty is good as well.

They aren’t packing cubes exactly, but I find them helpful for packing all the smaller things. They come in three sizes, the largest will hold 2-3 pairs of shoes.

Muji store makes packing accessories. I have the zipper cubes, drawstring bags for many years (maybe 8-10?). I travel more than the average person and would wash them after each trip and then hang dry them. Another plus is that they ball up into tiny pouches. Also have eagle creek ones too and both are good.

I haven’t personally used them but I bet Briggs and Riley are. All of their products are very well made and come with a lifetime warranty

OnSight. Mine are so good that I actually use them as delicates bags once or twice a week in the laundry! I bought them for packing and they are great at that too, the mesh is good for squishing down. They have a few different shapes.

Weirdly, and I might get downvoted, but the IKEA packing cubes (pink & blue set) have lasted me almost 10 years.

Continuous travel - short & long weekend trips, work travel, even used a few for my everyday gym bag in (I pack 1 week's worth of clothes so I don't forget anything in the morning at work). Still use them - except one set is now in my go bag for work travel. I'm really surprised how well it held up, I was originally testing them out to see if it's useful.

The only problem is I don't know if they still carry them because I think they like to discount items like these from time to time.
