My GF has 2 Fjallraven shoulder bags and those are solid and tough though dainty. I’ve got loads of their clothes. It’s all built to last as far as I can tell. What is your husband doing to destroy hip packs?

He's just using it daily, taking out stuff like keys or phone so after a while belt or zip breaks.

I have a lot of Fjallraven clothes, and my spouse has a Fjallraven backpack. Definitely holding up well. Plus they offer a lifetime warranty if you have a receipt and bought it from an authorized seller.

I inherited my dad’s fjallraven jacket that he bought in 1981. Still going strong and barely any signs of wear or tear. So I’m very happy with the quality/durability.

I can’t speak to whether the quality has worsened in recent years, though.

Which jacket is it? My father has an expedition down jacket from 1982, it’s very similar to my sister’s completely new one.

I think it’s the Greenland jacket. It’s summer weight.

I bought my wife the Fjallraven Kanken hip pack last year. It has been very durable so far. Her one complaint was that the zipper pull tabs were noisy, so I replaced them with key rings. They are now quieter as well as easier to pull!
