Get a silicone spatula, nothing sticks to them and they're safe to really high temperatures.

I've learnt over my cooking lifetime however that fancy designer ones are crap. They put a nice wooden handle and the glue fails and it falls apart.

Instead make sure that the whole spatula is a single piece of silicon with no seams or joins, then it'll be good forever.

I found mine online from a generic kitchen website, they were so cheap I bought 3, I've given two of them away to family members because they hate cooking in kitchens without a decent spatula. Since then I've bought a few more, but the first one I bought is still as good as new maybe 7 or 8 years later.

And just to add onto these excellent points, the spatulas with the smooth blade shape instead of the angular blade seem to work better for me. I have a handful of each of the full (12+ inch) and "medium" 10 inch sizes.

If you look in a walmart they should have them there if they are more flexible it’s likely to break after 2-3 years but are some of my favourite cooking utensils. I had a cheap green one and it was amazing for the years it has lasted me. Im currently using a kitchen aid one and its works just as fine so I cant recommend getting a name brand one.
