What brand phone or device will they be used with?

It's also worth noting we are talking about electronics with batteries. Thehmyare not built to be BIFL or repairable.

For $150 none of the native apple products work which means you lose out on some sound quality and noise canceling features. It's a bit taboo, but my Galaxy Buds Peo were $150 when I purchased them new. 2 years old and holding strong.

My Beats by Dr Dre (with ear hooks and wired together) are still going strong after a couple of years. I use them at least every week day for several hours a day. I find the hooks super comfy.

Even though they’re over the $150 limit, the Gen2 AirPod Pros are fucking fantastic. I saw a deal today to get them from Verizon for $199. Check Slickdeals.

I love Sound Peats. They are dirt cheap, the sound is clear, and work and pair boom fast.

They have a couple different types. All vastly cheaper than apple.

Ok. I have field tested and highly recommend the

Skullcandy Indy Evo

I wore these babies through most every work shift, for 3 years. And they are covered completely under their own warranty

The battery power lasts for almost a full 8 hours of use for the buds. And the case charges the buds through a full week of regula, everyday use (in my experience).

By headphones, you mean over-the-ear not earbuds, I guess. I have a pair of Sony WH-1000X m3 noise cancelling headphones that impress me a lot. The noise cancelling feature is excellent, can be deactivated, works fine in a car (not driving of course), airplane, any noisy location. Can also be used for noise cancellation without music just for quiet isolation in those places (for study time, etc). Rechargeable. Bluetooth, also works hard wired with included earphone cable. Ours are 2 years old so not much of a data point there on lasting a long time. There's a newer model out but I tried both out at Best Buy and chose the m3. The XM3 are still available, still excellent and have been heavily discounted. Available at Best Buy, Amazon, etc.
