I have the cheapest square model dw5600. Same battery since 2015. $45 USD. You could spring for a solar atomic for $100.

Can't recommend the solar atomic enough. I'm sure the 5600 is also a phenomenal watch (given it's basically the same).

I figured I could buy another DW5600 every 5 years and be even a decade later since the 5610 was twice the money at the time. I wonder if I did the right thing though because the atomic clock sync is a really neat feature. Oh well.

Haha it really is nice when traveling but that's about it. Honestly the blue stripe of the 5600 looks cooler imo. You absolutely didn't go wrong!

GA-2100 series are stylish and thinner due to the usage of carbon fibers in the plastic - have all of the functions of a standard G-Shock plus analog hands

I would go for the Lineage 5161 instead of the G-shock. Titanium and Sapphire glass are one of the strongest materials on the planet 💪

TIL you could spend $3K on a G-Shock

I got the DW5600 as well. Paid about 40 bucks for it at Walmart. I’ve had it 8 years and only replaced the battery once.
