The chunk it balls, usually orange. Specifically the rubber ones, are the only balls my dog will play with and not eventually destroy.

Seconding West Paw. Our Boxer loves Toppl and Tizzi. He enjoy chewing them more than Kong.

Kong has some great toys too. There's one that looks like UFO. Our late boxer loved it a lot. We took it to the fields and woods. It bounces and rolls a lot when thrown and he loved chasing after it.

There's no really BIFL for dogs though, especially those with strong jaws. But West Paw and Kong do make some that last a long time.

I also love a licki mat that's made by a small company in Germany, Hund ist König and a tug toy made by a small Polish company in Etsy called ZAYMACraft.

Sophie the giraffe teething toy for babies. It’s $25 but has lasted 7 years. My Westi plays with it everyday. Available on Amazon.

Another endorsement for west paw we have a tug toy that is 11 years old and still going strong with our mid size dogs after surviving being a 100 lb dogs favourite toy for 5 years.

KONG Classic Dog Toy. Great throw toy as they bounce uneven. The Dog will chase it and then need to turn to get it when it goes sideways.

Larger is better for being chew resistant. Not sure anything is chew proof but I still have one that lasted 15 years.

I’m a fan of biothane for leashes and collars. It’s a good leather alternative, since my dog likes to chew leather but doesn’t care for biothane. They can get wet and don’t get stiff at all in the cold, and where I live it’s currently -40 F. Love that they’re washable since lord knows my dog loves to roll in anything disgusting.

But I’d stay away from the kind found in major pet stores, as it’s pretty thin and feels cheap.

I got mine from this local Canadian maker.
