Mine cost $90. It’s a dirt devil so not top of the line but not cheep. Might price motors vs vacuums and see if I can keep it going another 2-3 years.

I would see the costs to repair, I think that's worth investigating..esp given it's 2 years old only and the lithium battery is still new.

I'll be honest, not a fan of dirt devil if you decide to get another. It's like the Black & Decker for power tools. In all reviews and Consumer Reports, it's never in the top ten or even 15. LG, Hoover, Dyson, Shark, Samsung, Bissell, etc are the ones who excel at and invest in improving.
