Can you help identify this sheet material? It's literally one of grandma's old sheets, it seems to have a thread count of about 150, but the most important thing is the weight, it's 240gsm, twice as heavy as anything I can find online.javaavril t1_j6og2f5 wrote

It's a linen percale. Most likely Irish loomed if it's heavy weight, slight slubs, and ticks that tight while still low thread count.

OK, I just tracked down a pair of Irish linen flat sheets for the bargain price of £1,188.79 !
