$45 thermometer and the probe is designed to fail. You might as well buy a cheapo thermometer from Amazon. Thermoworks sells new probes for $20. After you replace it once, you’ll probably try to baby it like I did. But it makes no difference. In a few months you’ll be wiggling the cable like an old pair of headphones trying to get it to work.

I had a probe fail on my signals…. They sent me a new one. If it’s only been months you should ask for a replacement.

They sent me one free replacement. It died before we used it 15 times.

I had the same experience. Worked great for 2 months And then stopped. $20 new probe. I have two $15 cheapies that I've had fo 10 years, went back to those. Thermopops are great. Dot wouldn't buy again

I’ve been using their stuff for 15 years at least without a single issue, sorry you’ve had a bad experience but it’s all been super reliable for me.

Bummer, I’ve had mine for almost a year. Use it for the smoker, often leave it outside and on for extended periods, have put the probe in the dishwasher and still works without skipping a beat.

ThermoWorks makes great stuff…only had to have some probes replaced once or twice, everything has been super solid.
