I got a couple blankets from the factory store in Woolrich PA around 8 years ago, same style but different color. Mine's gone around the world with me on my army adventures. The other's been in my dad's boat on countless fishing trips. Both are still in fantastic condition.

Mine has gotten softer after a few years. I have had it dry cleaned twice. Not really itchy now. May have been a little itchy at first.

Probably a little bit. Nothing keeps warm like wool and cashmere though.
