Hi BIFL friends!
On my journey to minimalism I'm finding it difficult to settle down on a purse/style of wallet.

Before I had kids I was in the trades and used a small minimalist wallet and kept everything else I needed in my lunch box.

Now that I'm a mom, constantly on the go with and without my kids. I want something BIFL so I don't have an excuse to fixate on buying another style of bag/wallet.

I like the minimalist style, and the idea of being able to throw it in a bigger bag. I prefer RFID if possible.. throw me any and all suggestions!

There’s a reason LV Neverfulls are the suburban Mom bag.

Before kids you can use it for books / laptops / coats etc. after kids you can use it as a diaper bag for the kid’s stuff etc. You then keep your stuff in a wallet on chain in the diaper bag and then you can separate the two when you need to go out to dinner etc.

Baggallini! I have a 15 year old crossbody that is machine washable, etc. It is compact, the interior “wallet” style organizer keeps cards organized, it has a few zipper pockets that I appreciate, and it has been exceptionally durable.

Columbia put out a line of sturdy messenger bags years ago and still has a smaller one called the zigzag. The bigger ones are still giving me years and maybe you can find some on ebay.

Coach has a line of crossbody wallets that you might like. They make really low-key, not crazy branded, versions that are really great sizes. and their leather quality is regularly noted as really good by leather professionals. If you take care of them, they will last. *Edit to add* they have straps that detach so you can throw it in a large bag as a wallet or carry it like a purse.
