Patagonia makes some nice looking casual pants too, not just technical and workwear.

ABC pants from lululemon, their warranty pretty much make them BIFL

Check out Western Rise. Although you don’t need to hike in them, you could. They are great for casual, travel, and I wear mine to meetings (depends on your job of course). Super durable. I have diversion and evolution.

Pants aren’t going to be BIFL unless you wear them very rarely

Maybe selvedge jeans but those aren’t going to be comfortable for awhile until you break them in

I like Filson because they are rugged but look nice, lots of color selection, and they can be repaired.

Alex Mill are my new favorites. You can find them on sale at times.

Duluth Trading Flexpedition: Wear them daily, usually pants only last me a year or so. I'm 5 years into some of my Flexpeditions and they still look new.

Outerknown is my new go-to. The two pairs of paints I got from them 2 month ago are nicely made. Sustainably made and some of their jeans are guaranteed for life.
