I figure this is a long shot, but I’m looking for a fenced in yard big enough to do training and play fetch with my dog. I’d pay by the hour, and you could even set it up on Sniffspot to make it official. We do take our dog to dog parks, but it’d be nice to have a place to go and not worry about potentially aggressive or not well socialized dogs. Feel free to PM if you have any questions. Thanks!

How big are you looking for? 15x15 ft? 20x20 ft?

There’s unfortunately nothing in the neighborhood! I’m hoping there’s someone here with a yard that hadn’t heard of Sniffspot, but would be interested in creating an account

If you have access to a car, check out Honeywell Park. Fun fact, it is double fenced

Uhh are you a murderer? If not and you're willing to go to Peabody we could maybe work something out. We have a 2 year old Shepard mix so play dates may be more in line, again if you're open to that.... And not a murderer

I’m definitely not a murderer and I’d definitely be up for that. Feel free to PM me. You can look through my post history to see pictures of my golden doodle. Could be a little far for a daily thing but could work for the weekends!

There’s an apartment complex on the corner of Inman st and Harvard st that has its own yard/rec area and it’s own fenced in dog park.

The entrance is on Harvard street, between the building and a fence. I rarely see anyone there

Do you mean Hunnewell Park out in Newton? As far as I know that big play area is NOT double fenced. There are also two separate gates which makes me nervous. One time there was a groundskeeper working on the premises who left the back gate ajar and a few of the doggies got out. We do not go there anymore.

If you can get up early, many of the dog parks are empty. The Pemberton dog run is usually empty before 7/730 (especially on weekends) Danehy usually gets some other dogs earlier, but there is a small side park that is almost always empty anyway (same place as the larger one, just to the side)

We do sometimes go to Pemberton, but the gravel gets our dog dirty, the fence is sometimes broken, and there are burrs from overgrown bushes that get all over our dog.

Our dog is 55 pounds so he probably wouldn't fit in the small section haha. I mostly want a private space where I can keep a long line on him to grab him when it's time to go since his recall is awful, but it would be too dangerous to have it on him if there are dogs at the park

Hey so that’s a different apartment, if you keep walking away from Inman street there is a sidewalk that takes you back there. On the sidewalk the building will be on your left, a wooden fence on your right.

Once you pass the fence you’ll see a couple picnic tables and grill, and at the end of the yard there’s a dog play area
