Does the First Street Garage fill up on Christmas day?

I don't own a car, so it's never been relevant to me, but I'll have someone visiting me on Christmas day and they need somewhere to park.

First Street Garage is close and the city website says it is free on Christmas. I'd assume it's emptier than usual, but what do I know.

I don’t know the answer to your question, but since all resident street parking is free on Sundays (which Christmas falls on this year). So even if the garage is busy, free parking should be available somewhere.

Yes. Provided we don't get a lot of snow, there will be ample street parking. If there was a big storm, maybe the garage being full would be an issue (and street parking a PITA), but you also have the Cambridgeside Galleria garage as an option.

If you reside in Cambridge, just go apply for a guest parking pass for the street. You don’t need to have a car.

I don’t have personal experience with this garage, but the city is usually very empty of people and cars on Christmas.
