Well, how much are you looking to spend? You didn’t really give people budget so we have no idea what to really recommend you.

Apple channeling has pretty good refurbished deals. Otherwise you kind of made their biggest back to school sale last month. Are you waiting for Black Friday shopping? You might be able to find the other good as 10 to 20% off from retailers or resellers.

I was honestly thinking of waiting til Black Friday and then doing my student deal on top of whatever discounts but I do need a laptop before my courses start back up so I’m kind of in a scramble.

AYou could probably find M1 MacBook Air around the in your budget during holiday specials if you can wait.

I’m trying but I need one for school as well😩

Most school libraries have loaner laptops you can borrow to ride you over.
And if you’re already tens of thousands in student debt, might be worth considering just pulling a extra couple a hundred bucks and buy a newer one that will last you the duration of school rather than buying one cheaper one that won’t make it.

875 max and that can be for a model 2018+. I just gotten a message from somebody selling but I’m not too sure if they are legitimate.

Micro Center has early 2020 models for $549 and late 2020 for $879.

That's how much Macs cost new - Apple makes sure prices are high.
Occasionally they'll have three year old ones for less.

Woot.com had refub'ed MacBook Air (2019) 13.3" Notebooks for about $470. Keep checking for deals.

I bought a 2017 iMac from Woot and it is excellent. Just be aware that the older the machine, the fewer OSX upgrade cycles are applicable.

Definitely endorse swappa.
To me CL is a hard pass, to be avoided at all times. But I know it works for some.

I purchased my iMac on shopgoodwill.com for $40 including delivery from TX to MA. You will find tons of Mac Airs shopgoodwill.com on there you just have to bid on them. Find the ones that are ending sooner than later and bid on them. You can find them dirt cheap compared to what you will pay for an actual store. Like I said I paid $40 for my iMac that was a $500 iMac I paid $30 for an original Nintendo with the controllers the power cords in five games so you can get a lot of electronica Stafford very inexpensive price as long as you don’t mind slightly used items and paying for shipping

For new or new old stock, Micro Center has deals pretty often.
And the answer to "where can I buy cheap electronics" of most kinds is usually Micro Center.
