I am from Maine and I was thinking of coming to Cambridge to visit and possibly live because I heard it is so great for bikes. Does anyone have any tips? Does Boston in general have more aggressive clueless drivers than Maine?

I can't comment on Maine but I bike everywhere here. It's a mixed bag. There are some good bike paths and some areas have good bike lanes and nice drivers. Other places are a pothole maze with no bike lanes or anything, and drivers who seem actively angry that you're not driving :/

Wow, those drivers must have A LOT of personal issues if they are blaming their problems on bicycles! I bet they even go on the internet and make up one-sided stories about it.

Totally checks out, the North Cambridge NIMBYs almost stopped the new protected bike lanes there. They were sooooooo pissy that the bus lane is now only a 2 hour bus lane and the rest of the time it's parking.

Ironic, considering that parking is never used now but my god the way the people were bitching you would have thought it would be PACKED every day now. Seems no on actually needed it huh.
