I'd just check out YouTube. It's really a simple device. There is like three functions on it. This isn't an iPad.

Could call around to the stores suggested to see if they have them on display.

I'd try Target, Best Buy, Staples, and any Book Stores.

Your local librarian is a great resource for helping with stuff like this - you may even be able borrow one from the library.
