BEWARE! Alewife Brook flooded yesterday, making the Greenway path impassible. Actually, we stopped one jogger from running into that contaminated water. He was determined not to continue. It's treated and filtered before being used as drinking water. When Cambridge switched to MWRA water a while back, it was because they were installing a new filtration system.
