I believe it with some kind of fireman's parade. I have other pictures I'll be posting in the future of what I believe is the same event

My zine from 1998 was loosely based on Central Sq and it’s history. I found a number of great resources, an oral history project, and a book in progress which you can now get, which has lots of great photos.
