Ask your landlord. They might give you some of the coins from the coin-op laundry. Sounds like a joke, but it's not.

Star market in porter. I've tried banks I don't have an account with and wasn't able to get quarters.

Do you ask the register there or how do you go about it?

you can get them from a bank without having an account, but they will probably try to limit you. during the pandemic I think the BofA in Porter was limiting account holders to four rolls per day, and non account holders to one or two per day.

The BoA's that I went to were either giving out single rolls or NO rolls (said they were completely out) during most of the pandemic, and they would ask for your ATM card as verification that you were a customer.

Now they only give out single rolls per day. So you could go back the next day and get another roll. I asked when that policy would change and they said there were no plans to change it. I actually dumped BoA as a result.

Now I just talk to my landlord every other month and he gives me as many quarters as I want in exchange for cash.

Many banks were like that during the pandemic. My wife does BOA and my account is in Santander and both give quarters if your account is with them.

I collect the quarters for a few laundry machines, so I have a ton every week. I’m located near the Cambridge public library, so if you’d like to trade in cash for quarters let me know

Broadway Marketplace (the overpriced little grocery store near the public library) gives rolls of quarters.

Some laundromats have a bill-to-quarter machine. You don't need to actually use the laundromat to use the machine. What I used to do was get a $20 as cash back from the grocery store, then transfer it to quarters at Belmont Street Laundry.

If you bring cash to a BoA they generally won’t ask if you’re a customer and will give you quarters. As others have said, they usually limit you and that depends on the branch and when you go. I’ve been able to get between 0 and 4 rolls.

Liquor stores are always a good bet.

Your bank (or usually any bank) will give you rolls of quarters if you give them cash.
