Looking for a place in town to grab some really great bagels, preferably somewhere where I can buy in bulk and bring them home. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Goldilox and Bagelsaurus are my faves! Although a dozen at Bagelsaurus will cost $$$, Goldilox may be better for bulk bagels (only open weekends, though)

Thank you! Yes I see the funky hours for goldilox, which honestly makes it more enticing! Will try to go this weekend :)

Bagelsaurus in Porter! ( confirmed delicious from someone who grew up on NJ/NY bagels )

Oo awesome! Will check it out! We have a roommate from long Island who always brings home awesome bagels when he goes to visit family, but we are looking for somewhere to fill in the gaps!

I swear I’ve never seen that place without a line of 10+ on the sidewalk. Would love to try it but I think I’ll wait until the weather gets better

It's usually not too bad if you can swing by on a weekday. Not everyone can of course, but like 10 AM on a Tuesday is usually not too crowded.

As a native New Yorker eating bagels before $10+ sandwiches were made on bagels, I say Bagelsaurus is okay but overpriced and too chewy.

Agreed with overpriced sandwiches especially for the size, but it’s convenient from my apartment, and their regular bagels aren’t too pricy. I still think they are solid compared to NY, and definitely stand out in the Boston area.

If you're ever up North Shore way (Peabody. Salem), Bagel World is great. I'm a foodie originating from NJ outside of NYC, so I feel like my bagel standards are quite hugh. Goldilox is where I go around here, bc it's easy to get to and the bagels are good. Mammaleh's also has good bagels, IMO.

Bagelsaurus is great at previously noted. Check their IG for Tuesday only specials.

Nobody has me mentioned forge. Great sourdough bagels.

Oh man is that local? Do they have coffee too? Really looking for both in the same location ideally!

Idk man, this sounds like a really good local place that probably only has one location? That's what I'm assuming here

I might be basic but I like the bagels at Pavement.

Since no one has mentioned it yet, The Bagel Table on Guest St. in Brighton. Classic bagels, just the right texture.

Go to Mighty Mill all the way in Lynn!!! They are not only awesome at bagels, but also for other breads. They mill their own flour, and you can see all this.

No. I walked in one day, it smelled like floor cleaner and zero bagels in sight. I may have as well walked into the office of a cleaning service. They were pushing their muffins. What kind of bagel shop tries to get you to buy muffins??

They moved the bagels because they found they stayed fresher in a different spot. The bagels are actually pretty great and the owner is super kind.
