Looking for any leads on local business or tradesmen around Boston that specialize in repairing original windows. We’re inside of one of the historical districts in Cambridge. Our new home has a few windows with cracked glass and a few sashes are failing, it would probably be best if we could just repair those pieces.

If there’s a similar thread would appreciate being pointed to that as well, tried scrolling back a few months but didn’t see anything.

Not historical window specific, but my home has some very unique window shapes and banner glass was able to replace some custom panes that I thought would be impossible to do. If you cant get a historical specialist, or if you get sticker shock, give them a try
