I liked it but there are other nice places in that area. Just went to the Harvest for the first time and it was great

[Insert name of restaurant in Harvard square] is overpriced and low quality

But it’s also elbow to elbow crowded and deafeningly loud.

I’d rather A&H or Longfellow

They used to be great. The pandemic saw 100% turnover. Literally no retention of skills. Now, well, it's a whole other place.

It was nice almost 10 years ago.

Not as good as it was when Scelfo was working there. (And yes, I'm aware of the allegations — knowing about them makes me not want to eat at his current places even though the food is good).

Agreed. But worst offender in the Harvard Square area is Waypoint.

The greatest letdown was moving to Boston to find that this is true of every restaurant.

Lived near Harvard square for about 6-1/2 years. I regard RHT as a place where mostly tourists or visitors go at this point. Exceptionally average. Much better spots in the area to grab a bite or drink.

Waypoint is an amazing restaurant!

Bartley's is way overpriced but definitely not low quality. I love those rich people burgers.
True about the area though. Toscano is olive garden at twice the price without the breadsticks. Santouka's ramen is abysmal.

This sums up more than a few restaurants in greater Boston.
