Hello! I plan on hosting an office holiday brunch and will have it open to the entire family of each employee.

Was thinking it would be nice to have someone to entertain the kids (~2-10 years old) with a few games, maybe face painting and/or balloon animals.

Would love any recommendations based on your experience. Many thanks!

What kind of venue are you planning for this event? In the office? At a restaurant? Maybe consider taking the event to one of the village center multipurpose spaces where you could arrange for a separate-but-next-door room for the kids, with proper hired supervision?

There's a person who does balloon animals at ledo pizza off Oakland Mills road, if you call them I'm sure they'll give you her contact info! She used to go in on Wednesdays but we haven't been there in a bit

There's a guy - Mr. Jon and Friends (https://www.mrjonmusic.com/) - who plays kids shows at local venues. He doesn't do face painting or balloon animals but is pretty well reviewed by some of the local parenting groups.

We used Pirate Girl for face painting recently, and she was phenomenal. I know she does balloon twisting too, but we didn't opt to do that.

Well, my next suggestion was going to be perhaps bringing in someone like KidzArt to run a kid-oriented activity in that adjacent room. (I’m not affiliated with KidzArt except that my kid loved attending their programs when he was younger.)
