Since very little context...Columbia has Greene Turtle, Frisco tap house, Victoria gastro pub, pub dog, and nottinghams.

Ellicott City has judges bench, la palapa on main street.

Breweries include sapwood, black flag, hysteria, and manor hill.

If you just want to hang out and have a few pints, then I would go to a brewery. If you want more of a clubby atmosphere, the closest in hoco is nottinghams. If you want more of a party atmosphere then you have to go to Baltimore, dc, or Annapolis.
