I’m looking to switch to a new Gastroenterologist after being with my current one for 15 years. Can anyone recommend a really great GI specialist they see in the area?

Thank you. That’s actually who I’m trying to get away from. I don’t see that doctor , I see a different one there, but I’m in the worse flare up of my life and am not getting the care I need. Hoping to find somewhere else.
Oh that's a shame! Sorry to hear that. Good luck finding somewhere that works for you!
Thank you so much!
Came here to talk up Dr b too. She's legit, no nonsense. But if you need to leave the practice I wish you luck!!
Thank you so much!
I have been happy with Dr. Alex Biju at Digestive Disease Associates. My husband sees Dr. Kim at the same practice.
I love Dr. Narayan there too.
Thank you!!
Thank you so much!
I see Dr Kim at Digestive Disease Associates, super personable.
Thank you so much!
Just here to say I’ve seen him too at DDA, and he helped me a ton!
ETA, I think it was Dr. Kim… it was some man at DDA 100% but I can confirm the name if you want 😂 it’s been a few years…
The problem with GI docs these days is they’ve all sold their souls to big corporate medicine. DDA is Gastro Health now. CDC is their own conglomerate. It is happening with all medicine these days. It sucks to be a patient. Just like the big box home improvement stores that pushed out the little hardware stores, corporate medicine has pushed out (or gobbled up) the little practices. So now we get mass call centers, people who don’t care, billing that’s a Charlie Foxtrot, and docs who only work a few days a week and have lost their zest for medicine.
I've been very happy with Dr. Kandalwhall (?sp) and their office
Thank you!
If anyone ever needs a GI surgeon I very highly recommend Dr James Harris @ HoCo General / Johns Hopkins. He literally saved my life and was one of the best doctors I’ve ever had.
I see Dr. Prakash at Gastro Center of Maryland and have had the best GI care in over a decade! After switching to her my health has improved in ways I couldn't imagine from either of my previous GI doctors.
If you haven’t already try herbal medicine , that’s what i’ve been using GI specialist never helped me, tumeric, dgl, and mastic gum are the best things ever
Do you have Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis?

I've been very happy with Capital Digestive Care, particularly Dr. Bijpuria. They were the easiest to schedule with, and they have offices in both Columbia and Laurel.
