I've got a 2x6 for now. No one has said anything in 5 months. Except when it floats away in heavy rain

Just spray paint the following on top of it: “if found, please leave at driveway next door” 🤓

My buddy has one. He's been in his house for 6 years. He's never heard anything. He's in Kendall Ridge. Some of the other villages might care though.

there's probably 6 or 7 people that have these in my neighborhood. None of us have ever been ticketed or told to remove them by the county. You shouldn't have any issues as most of the police and county workers probably understand, and we've never had an issue with the snow plows either.

Thanks all, appreciate the insight. I’ve got to do something as yesterday I heavily scraped the bottom of car, thought for sure I punctured the oil pan but everything seems fine so far. I can usually avoid problems if I back out at a sharp angle or back in, but yesterday even backing in didn’t work, probably because my trunk was full of stuff. Hopefully the curb ramps work as expected.

I've seen few of them in Oakland Mills that haven't moved in at least 4 years.

Easily worse driveways I've ever been on. I've never experienced this elsewhere

Yeah, it’s pretty bad, I don’t understand why there’s such a steep drop off between the driveway and the street.

I hate that the county uses these steep mountable curbs in residential areas rather than a normal 90 degree curb along the road with a lower-pitched apron for driveways.

Besides scraping cars with lower ride height, it also encourages people parking along the road to drive up the curb and park on the grass between the road and sidewalk.

Luckily our driveway is fairly low pitch, but my next door neighbor's isn't and I hear his car scrape every time he leaves. Maybe I'll recommend this to him.

I don't understand why they're designed like that. Can anyone enlighten me

Only thing I can think of is to improve the flow of storm water, but seems like overkill.

I have them but I'm in carroll co. Ebay had the best prices I could find with free shipping from New Jersey, got 3 of them. They are heavy but they still move around and need to be repositioned every so often.

I'm also pretty unsure of what to do when it snows, thinking the plows will just push them right on down the street.

I ordered 3 from bridjit this morning with free shipping, though shipping may have been included in the price as they were not cheap.

I've had one for 5 years, best decision ever, no problems with it. All of the neighbors have been getting their own! Only one has been hit by a snow plow, just flip it up onto your driveway if it's going to snow.

My buddy lives across from the pool on Columbia Rd in ellicott city near Dorsey and has had them for over a year. Confirmed with his neighbors and was good to go never had a problem.

Does anyone know if these are a standard size? I guess I would have to try and measure the curb radius?

They seem standard from what I can tell. BRIDJIT seems to be the recommended brand for these base on the research I’ve done (also as shown in photo).
