Grassroots, off Cedar Lane, can help you.

They have a shelter, which you may be able to stay at. They also have counseling services. Call them, and they'll help you figure out what to do and where you can go.

> Grassroots operates a 24-hour crisis intervention and supportive counseling hotline. Individuals may call for a variety of reasons including suicide, family and relationship problems, shelter needs, violent or threatening domestic situations, loneliness or depression, and chemical dependency issues, among others. Callers may remain anonymous. > > Callers can reach the Grassroots hotline at 410-531-6677. > > https://www.grassrootscrisis.org/services/crisis-intervention/

If you call that line they may also be able to refer you to HopeWorks who have a domestic violence shelter as well

House of Ruth in Laurel maybe? Best of luck... go to an Al-anon or Nar-anon meeting (for families of alcoholics and addicts).

So sorry you and your child are navigating this situation. Please choose one of these shelter options over staying in a hotel/private place. If not for support, do it for documentation. Hope for the best (partner recovering and family reunification if that’s what you all want and need) but plan for the worst (legal battle over custody). Having this incident and repercussions with your child on record is the best thing you can do to safeguard yourself in future possible proceedings.

What kind of help are you looking for? Grass roots shelter on cedar lane has resources for people in your situation, or I have some buddies who do off-the-books personal protection if that’s more what you’re looking for.
