Wanting to try a more local place than where I’ve been going recently.

Does anyone have any barbershop recommendations or just anywhere a guy can get a decent haircut at?

I get a simple cut. 1 on the side with a little taken off up top and blended/faded with the side.

The Anthony-Richard Barbershop in the Wilde Lake Village Center: Columbia's first barbershop from 1967 and still going strong!

Barber shop near the Taco Bell off Snowden. A nice family owned establishment.

Are you talking about this barbershop on Minstrel Way:

Because this is what I was going to mention too. I haven't been back here since the pandemic but it was only like $10 a cut and I like simple cuts too. Number 1 on the sides and a little bit longer on top.

They share the business with the salon next door that they will send overflow to and the cuts there aren't bad. But I think there's a reason why there's usually a wait for the barbers in the shop to the right.

Like I said, haven't been back since the pandemic, so don't know if prices went up or anything.

Columbia Barbershop. $12 and 12 minutes. Good for basic cuts.

Columbia Barber Shop on Minstrel Way is always affordable and consistent. Nice people too. There is a left and right side with separate doors. Both sides cut well.
