Every moving company I call goes to voicemail, and I don't want to book online because my move is a bit unusual. Any recommendations on movers who will answer their phone?

It's a short move, and I only need 6 big items moved(King Mattress, Bookshelf, 2x Dresser, loveseat, and coffee table). I need them loaded into the U-Haul, and then unloaded at the destination. Including the 15 minute drive, it really shouldn't take more than an hour, but I'd be happy to pay for a full hour at each end.

My advice is not to trust any estimate you get over the phone. They will show up on moving day and the price will be higher. And it's not the fault of the crew that's there. It's just their shady sales tactic because at that point you are at their mercy.

I recommend Golden Rule Moving. Sean coordinated my move and even refunded some money when I accidentally overpaid. Great company.

I've used Swift moving services 3 or 4 times, the young lady always has answered and always very nice. The guys doing the moving show up on time and have been very careful with my stuff. 100% call these guys

I found a local company for a good rate. I'll update the post with their name if they do a good job.
