My military brother and his wife's first born boy is turning one year soon and she want a smash cake for him. I'm from California I'm station in Virginia but she is going home to Connecticut for his birthday. While my brother is deployed .she doesn't know any good bakeries and neither do I cuz I never been to Connecticut. so I'm turning to reddit for answers

Isabelle et Vincent in Fairfield is a great French Bakery. They have early hours and aren't open every day, so I would suggest calling first. Not sure about the cakes but the other baked goods are great.

Does anyone know if Del Prete is still good?

Someone already said Isabelle's so I'll add Billy's bakery in Fairfield. Wide variety and quality.

Leisha’s is really good and fairly priced.

I don’t see the point in a quality cake for a 1yr old smash cake though. Just get something from the grocery store.
