Its been spring down here on the shoreline for like weeks now. Forsythia and daffodils have been out for kver 2 weeks. Many trees are just starting to leaf out.

The random crocus that pops up in the middle of my yard every year is blooming! Other things I noticed recently:

Daffodils
Skunk cabbages
Peepers
Vernal pools are loud AF with amphibians
Lilac, Red Buds, and other trees that I don't know names of are starting to bud
Those prickly vines are greening up

I've seen about 5 painted turtles this year. First ones I saw were on the 21st.

I've also been hearing spring peepers since the 18th and the ospreys have migrated back.
