The price is good, but the service is spotty. I routinely need to reset my router every week, and according to their technical support, you need to leave it off for 2 minutes because that's how long their automated software performs a status update for connectivity. Occasionally, I'll get booted from my games on x-box, but I knew what I was buying at the time.

Edit, I have the 500mb fiber for ~$55/ month

Yeah, brain fart. I really only got it because it was much cheaper than Comcast 300mb, they were trying to get me to pay ~$120/month for.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to come off as correcting you, just wanted to ensure folks knew it wasn't 'that' cheap!

Meh, I am human. When talking about facts, we need to agree on the source of the information. If my memory is bad, then I need to correct it.

How far is your node from your house? Should be a big white box on a telephone pole on a nearby main thoroughfare.

Their router is garbage, but the service is great. If you took part in the Eero promotion, just plug your lightbox into an Eero and don't bother with the router; your problems are likely to go away.

Two weeks so far in WV, and haven’t had a drop yet. Hopefully it’s just end user and not the equipment. I’ve heard from some engineers on /r/frontierfios and they said the backend isn’t even being TOUCHED yet on utilization, so we should see good service for some quite some time still.
