Hello friends. I am in need of a new roof on my house in the Hartford area. My biggest criteria is quality work. I plan on getting at least 3 quotes but I was hoping to hear from fellow nutmegers on who you would or would not work with for a project like this. I really appreciate any advice as this will be my first time reroofing a house. Thanks in advance for your help.

They work fast, and do good work.

Make sure you’re up on latest code requirements. If you’re replacing the plywood, for instance, new code requires the joints are taped.

Thank you for this tidbit! I wouldn't have even thought to check code before throwing a new roof on the house, figuring a roof is a roof is a roof. But it makes a lot of sense to do that.
