I’m a photographer from MA I’ve pretty much hit everything in my state but never been to CT to explore. I’m looking for places still around and any information is much appreciated

Had a friend who owned a condo the road leading into that ( until last year) said it's patrolled regularly and even if you were to walk your dog out that way on the road you're likely to get approached.

There is an old abandoned railway and structures in North haven. One has an art piece in it of a polar bear.

There’s a couple closed/abandoned elementary schools in Enfield that looked straight out of an apocalyptic series with the plant overgrowth and such. Close enough to the more rural patches of Enfield.

Mansfield training school is pretty quiet just watch out for the UConn Police. Fairfield Hills is more hot but there are a lot more buildings. There is also some developed buildings so it’s not as sketchy to walk around.

I think in Waterford or Watertown (something like that) there’s an old sanitarium right on the water. Really spooky vibe.

I’ve hiked Dudleytown - although it was 20 years ago - and I don’t remember anything remarkable (or scary). The coolest thing was we hike over Mohawk ski area and the snow was being made and piled way up over our heads.

This happened to me and my girl. We were walking our dog around the building and a cop pulled right up on us. He was pretty chill though, let us walk around the property as long as we didn't try to get in
