I know there's RC madness in Enfield but is there anywhere more central in CT that is a fun place to run a RC car? It can be a park or RC business. I'd rather stay away from skate parks because that's just asking for breakages.

There used to be an RC track in Wolcott quite a while ago but I think they’re just airsoft now

Ground Zero Airsoft is the location. They have an indoor track at their location off of Harper's Ferry last I heard.

That track closed years ago. Lester got out of the RC game and opened The Gun Store. Told me he made more money in his first two years doing that than the last ten doing RC stuff.

They used to have an outdoor track too. I only went once. Had a big bore .26 buggy. Was warming it up and setting the carb back in the nitro days, flipped it, throttle got stuck open wheels up. Boom. Expensive mistake.

I used to run my fleet of Savage 21s and 25s back when there was a class for nitro MTs. What a time, man. I loved that place.

Fair enough I knew his goal was to open TGS,I didn't know he was getting out of the RC business.

I see people with rc cars at the bmx track in Meriden pretty often but I would stick to the off season of racing

I'm actually looking for somewhere in eastern ct to do the same. It's surprisingly hard to find a good place that isn't just flat grass

Rockwell park in Bristol has a bmx pump track that I used my mt10 on a bunch of times. They have a sign up that says only bikes allowed but I’ve never had an issue.
