Nope! Delta 9 is legal in CT, but authorized sales are hard to come by. That said, you can buy delta 9 thc gummies legally online because by weight they fall under the 0.3% D9 THC threshold. Its a really interesting loophole that I'd def suggest everyone learns about.

I've purchased these from a totally above board Cannabis shop in Stamford.

No actually! About 3g of sugar and 10mg of d9 thc per gummy.

200mg of D9 per 81g bag, puts the total concentration of the bag @ ~.0025% D9.
I'm shilling for these unintentionally ngl. I usually take d8 edibles anyway as they hit harder imo. I'll take a fat L if my math is laughably wrong though

In the US hemp isn’t classified as weed. Hemp derived D9 is legal. Weed derived D9 is illegal.

Ok but Delta 9 on the whole is still legal in CT. Pigs aren't stoppin ya and asking you where your d9 came from lmao. The gummies are all hemp derived and under the weight ratio limit so they're also federally legal under the farm bill. Its definitely a loophole but hey, exploit early.

It’s legal only if it’s from hemp.
Delta 9 is illegal, even in CT, if it’s produced from weed.

uhhhh, no. D9 is legal in CT, has been since 2021.

You can grow and possess cannabis in CT as well as hemp friendo!
Edit: Bill passed in 2019 but wasnt actually signed until 2021.

We can go back and forth on this all day.

Can you point to a source for that? Because the CT Gov website makes no such distinction, nor does the law passed. ONLY the Farm bill of 2018 makes the distinction between industrial hemp and normal cannabis. We're talking about CT law, just to clarify here. Genuinely curious to see if you can point to a source because if so I'm totally in the wrong!]
Invitation goes out to anyone! I definitely don't want to be spreading false info if thats the case.

Delta 8, 9, and 10 are all illegal to sell or distribute. Regardless of whether you’re a business or an individual. It is, however, legal to possess.
Obviously they don’t care where you get it, just who’s distributing it.
Distinction made that marijuana (Indica) and hemp (sativa) are both cannabis, but different plants.
https://norml.org/laws/connecticut-penalties/?amp
Possession of paraphernalia used to ingest cannabis is still illegal (wtf) and can land you with three months in prison and a $500 fine.

No problem.
They made all this a giant confusing pain in the ass for some reason!
