My sister got a new job in July this year and I reported her new income to DSS. I go to look at the income on her DSS account and it’s well below what she actually earns. I have no idea why it’s way off like that and it’s not what I told them!

She gets HUSKY C and food stamps. I just informed them of the change online but for Aug-Nov she was over HUSKY limit by $20 or so. Will we get penalized for this?

If the rollover date is the same for everyone, she will get kicked off the plan on January 23rd.

My wife is just $400 over the limit and got a letter for that date.

Idk what’s going to happen. Why not just let your sister deal with this herself?

I’m her guardian, authorized rep, rep payee, Landlord I handle these things for her she can’t.

I know calling them is a pain but they can be very helpful when you get through. Don't procrastinate. (Like me) Good luck.

I got in touch with her caseworker who has always been helpful. I updated and corrected her income online so they have that info but she said they will transfer to Husky for disabled working adults with a 75k income limit. I will call them soon for more peace of mind. The state is still under a public health emergency so they won’t boot anyone.
