I also recently switched to Constellation. Locked it in at 13.2/kWh for 36 months. I began looking at suppliers when they announced the rate hike for January/2023. I’ve done this before with other suppliers and haven’t had any issues. Some suppliers did have early cancellation fees in the past but I don’t see any fees/other fees listed for Constellation- Safe to say after this rate increase in January it’ll be a while before Eversource returns to lower rates. I’d lock it in NOW before their rates also go up. If you ever want to switch back you can call Eversource and ask to go to them as the supplier or shop the supplier list again. About 2 billing cycles before your end date for the new supplier contract, they’ll contact you to offer a renewal rate- and then you can change it back if it happens to be higher than Eversource. or continue with them. Hope this helps.

I just locked in with constellation at 15.7cents/Kwh with the promo code in a different comment on this thread. The contract was easy to read and only 9 pages. No cancellation fee. Thanks for the info!

I have constellation, locked in December of 21 for 8.9 cents , good until 2024. No cancellation fees or any shady business, process took 2 months for the supplier to actually change.

I have been using a 3rd party suppliers off and on for the better part of 15 years. Whomever has the lowest price gets my business and when they don't, we switch back to the standard rate or a different supplier. I'm currently locked in until mid-2024 at around 10c/kwh with direct energy. I've never had any issues with early cancel fees or anything else. When the contract is up they tend to automatically renew you into a higher rate (with a couple month's notice) but if you pay attention you can switch again.
