This is the only place I’ve ever lived where it seems like no one understands what a blinking red light means. IT IS A STOP SIGN. FULL STOP. In all cases.

Just watched a near T-bone as one driver totally ignored everything else happening and whipped through to make a left. And of course he was the one honking angrily at the other person cautiously crossing the road.

They also seem to forget when the signal is inoperable, it's a four way stop. Watched people on Rt. 7 today fly through intersections where the traffic light was not working at full speed.

Just coming to comment this. It is crazy - a four way stop is not that hard people!

Post COVID it is worse. Little to no enforcement, so this will continue.

This morning I watched someone blow through a stop sign and 2 very egregious red light runners and it's not like today is some kind of fluky think. It's all the time. I'm not surprised that people can't handle a red blinking light. People should have to at the very least re-take a written test every once in a while.

I don't think we need another test, these idiots know exactly what they are doing. Its gotten worse since COVID IMO.

More enforcement would address this problem. Until that a happens, there will be no incentive to knock it off.

Yep. It’s really bad when the lights are out at an intersection too. That happened in New Milford last week and the main intersection was a total mess. Saw many close calls and near accidents. No one knows how to drive competently.
