Hey everyone,

This is all very last minute, but It’s my 2 year olds birthday today and we just moved to Southington from Stratford. We are heading to Cabelas for Santa pictures and looking for a good/fun place to take the kids for dinner afterwards.

Thanks in advance

You keep getting recommendations for Manchester, so here's another one: Randy's Wooster St Pizza is kind of a cool spot for kids. I know mine get a big kick out of the free matchbox car with their kids meals.

Age 2 is not even a kid that is still a toddler.

You can eat anywhere you want lol

You would think from the OP, but the reality is I also have a 6, 4, 3 year old and a 6 month old… although they are great in restaurants, not everywhere works lol

It’s not a lifestyle for everyone, but we enjoy it lol

I am tempted to say horrible things. But you're right. It's not a lifestyle many sane people choose.

I appreciate the kindness… it is a challenge to talk about on Reddit because, I feel there is a bias in the opposite direction… people tend to judge before they even know us, but dinner went great last night and we got complimented on the kid’s behavior by the party next to us!

I grew up in a big family. I know the other side of the picture - and some of the stories I've got .. oh boy, they're good.

It's not an easy choice to have a big family, but the payoff later in life - of having a big family around you - makes it all worth it.

Bears bbq is super casual and low stress with kids. Let one grown up sit with the kids while the other grabs the food.

They’re all kid friendly at 430 pm. My best advice is to go early so you don’t bother anyone else.
